Riddick's Interview Before World Crown 2016 - Night Ten

Riddick's rage rolls on! Regardless of the status of the IWC. He rolls through to the finals of the IJPW World Crown Tournament as he headlines the Toyko Dome like so many times in the past. A pre match interview with the finalist and much much more.

WARNING SICK VIOLENCE, HARSH OPINIONS AND LANGUAGE IN THIS PROMO

The camera zooms in on Riddick. For the first time in a long time Riddick feels vindicted in his return. He is standing in front of the Tokyo Dome. His bald head shining, his goatee freshly groomed for wanton violence and a smug demeanor about himself as he walks slowly towards the entrance.

It's been a long, arduous journey for Riddick to get to where he is on Night Ten of the World Crown tournament. He gets one match where the winner is the Number One Contender for the IJPW World Wrestling Championship. Regardless of that outcome. Riddick is firmly entrenched in the World Championship picture in IJPW.

This new found success hasn't come overnight. Over the greater part of a year Riddick has toiled in mild obsecurity in the IWC. Riddick originally came to the IWC to take on its resident brain washer and wannabe goth Cindy Todd. A woman he almost murdered in the days of the SWA. Riddick's eyes gleam when he thinks about the Carnal Neckvice he put on her back then. He almost has to wipe a bit of drool from his lips every time he thinks about putting it on her again. Nevertheless, the IWC didn't find a feud right off the bat between Todd and Riddick to be profitable. Not with Riddick having been gone for so long. So Riddick got stuck in the mid card. Facing wrestlers without even half of his credentials and LOSING to them. Even when Riddick himself felt he outperformed them. They'd always get the win somehow, someway.

Eventually this discouraged Riddick. For the first time in his career. Riddick thought that this business might be past him. Long gone are the days of appreciation for wanton violence. Long gone are the days where insulting and going at your opponents for no reason at all are acceptable. Nowadays, there must be a story. There must be a good reason for the violence. There must be a good story behind the man. There must be a good balance between the evil that goes on inside the mind of a man. And a deeply hidden good side to their nature.

These things have never, ever been Riddick. Riddick has his reasons. Reasons he'd rather not talk about for he is a man. He has his reasons for almost murdering Cindy Todd. He has his reasons for randomly attacking people. Reasons that are too real to a small segment of the population. Reasons that are too real for many victims. He has never wanted to talk about any of this. Until now.

Riddick saunters through the entrance of the Tokyo Dome. His mind in a very clear place for the first time in years. Win lose or draw. He's the main event once again. He is home, in Japan. In a match against John Scroggs where the winner gets a shot at a big gold belt. Not in IWC. But where Riddick has made his living for well over a decade. His muscles bulge a big through the plain black t-shirt that he's wearing. His blood red jeans match his needs for a liquid of the same color tonight. This is not why Riddick is here now however. Riddick is here for an interview. A sit down with a man who has called over 90 percent of Riddick's career. A pre match interview with Taka Shimura. Riddick spots Taka and a sickening grin covers his face as he walks to the set. Riddick sits down and they nod their heads at each other. The camera fades in as the interview commences.

Taka Shimura: Greetings IJPW wrestling fans and fans all around the world as this will also be aired in the United States due to Riddick's contactual obligations with the IWC. I'm Taka Shimura. Tonight is the night. Night 10 of the World Crown IJPW tournament. We have reached the finals here at the Tokyo Dome. Tonight for a shot at the World Wrestling Championship we have John Scroggs taking on the man to my right. He's a legend here in Japan and all over the world. He's put more men in hospital than AIDS. He is Riddick. Welcome to the set Riddick.

Riddick nods his appreciation at Taka and grins a toothy grin before speaking.

Riddick: It's great to fucking be here Taka.

Taka Shimura: Let's get down to business. Many people, myself included. Did not pick you to get this far in the tournament. Whether it's due to your losing streak in the IWC or the fact you're facing your late 30's with a body that's been through pure hell. However this tournament has seen your resurgence. Please tell us Riddick. Do you have anything to say about your opponents thus far and making it to the finals? How do you feel physically?

Riddick's face contorts in disgust like he's been insulted. He answers.

Riddick: I feel fan fucking tastic Taka. Looking at me I can see where you might think differently. I have many scars all over my body. I have seen many wars, hurt many people, been almost fucking killed in the ring. However what you forget is that I took years off. What I did during that time was enjoy a brief retirement from facing opponents who could actually fight back. I could tell you what I did during that time but I'd have to fucking kill you.

You can almost see how visibly this worries Taka as his eyes widen and he takes a deep breath. Riddick continues.

Riddick: Let's just say Taka nothing I've done in the last fourteen years has been pretty. You want me to discuss my last opponents in this tournament? Fine, I will. Let's start with the first three. Danjuro Komatsuzaki, Florenza Peretz and Miyazaki Bokkai. Who the flying fuck are these people? Were they just picked from the stands to enter this tournament?

Taka interrupts Riddick.

Taka Shimura: They happen to be very talented...

Riddick interrupts Taka loudly.

Riddick: Very talented Japanese porn stars? Japanese sushi vendors? Come on Taka. Yo Kurasawa would've stood a better chance against me. And he's been in Japanese porn Taka! Granted he ended up on efukt.com in the premature ejaculation section saying "too late bitch" as he spurted all over some chicks hand. But still. He'd have stood a better chance than my first three opponents.

Taka Shimura: Well I highly doubt that. Did you say efukt.com?

Riddick: I sure did. Do you want the link?

Taka Shimura: No I think I'll pass on that. Now what about Ricky Doyle and Dave Manton. They're both pretty tough customers! Dave Manton broke two necks on his way to the semi finals. And Ricky Doyle is one half of the tag team champions. What about them?

Riddick: What about them Taka? Ricky Doyle is a fucking charity case like his brother. My boys in the Ultraviolence Union can take care of him and his brother. Ronnie would've gotten a shot at the World Champion Kat-shit-hika

Taka Shimure: That's Katsushika, Riddick. Katsushika

Riddick: Don't ever fucking interrupt me again. You see Kat-shit-hika would've given him a title shot regardless of whether he earned it or not. Just because he knocked Mr. Cat Shit the fuck out. So the Champ has a glass jaw? Who gives a fuck? Ronnie's not getting that shot. John Scroggs is not getting that shot. I am. And if somehow some miracle happens that Scroggs beats me. That puts me next in line for a match for the World Championship against the winner of Mr. Cat Shit and Scroggs doesn't it?

Taka Shimura: Well an argument can surely be made for that statement. That's for sure.

Riddick: You damn right Taka. The only one of my opponents I have a half assed respect for was Dave Manton. Only because he broke two fucking necks. But he didn't break my neck, now did he? Back to the end of the line bitch! Now anymore brilliant fucking questions Taka?

Taka Shimura: Yeah I do. I came prepared man. Now you've been winning here in IJPW. You're 5-1 and with a potential shot at the World Wrestling Championship on the line tonight. Why didn't that success you're having here translate overseas in the IWC?

Riddick: That's easy man. Plain old politics and heeding to a strict guideline of what's expected of you. You see, I don't suck anyone's dick in the wrestling business. If you watched my shoot promo back in December of 2007 against everyone in the SWA. You'd have known that. It was also one of the greatest single promos of all time. Dare I say it revolutionized and helped start the downfall of the SWA. Am I proud of that? A little bit, yes. Sadly I've seen some of the same things in the IWC.

Taka's eyes widen as if he's about to hear some shit.

Taka Shimura Like what? Please explain.

Riddick: Favortism Taka. Wrestlers sucking each other off backstage so that they can get ahead. Now I'll admit. I wasn't at the top of my game when I first arrived. But come on man. Anyone with a working pair of eyes could fucking see. Hell even a blind man who could read using only braille could fucking see that I outperformed Gavin Taylor at our pay per view match. And somehow I was supposed to lay down for him. Apparently I didn't have enough "character development" was what I was told. And while his promo against me was boring, bland, and rehashed the same thing over and over again, that I was washed up. It was somehow still better than mine. No offense to Gavin he's a hell of an athlete. But a spokesman he is not.

After that Taka. I just got discouraged. I tried using my past bullshit, why I am the way I am. And I just lost, and lost, and lost some more. Who really wants to know why I am the way I am? Who wants to fucking hear that I got abused as a child. Got neglected and left in stores? Who wants to fucking know that when I was 8 another 8 year old little boy touched my no-no square. With his mouth! Who wants to know that I was beaten down by a gang of people in the street of Muskegon because I was a white kid in a neighborhood where I was the fucking minority? Who wants to know that shit? Did you want to know?

Taka Shimura: Jesus Riddick, I could've gone my whole life.. I'm sorry.

Taka looks very worried right now. Riddick's in rare form. Taka eyes furrow as Riddick continues.

Riddick: Maybe I should explain why no one has seen Elizabeth. You'd know her as Lady Despair. If you want to get into my recent past. People ask me where she is. People diddle themselves wondering what the fuck happened to her. You want to know Taka? Does the whole world want to know? Maybe Cindy Todd would like to know also. Maybe she rubs herself off at night, numerous fucking times while wondering. Well wonder no more. She's dead Taka, fucking dead! All those years of taking shots to the head, all the concussions, all the wear and tear on her body to be the best fucking woman this business has ever seen. It all caught up to her. She had a stroke, yes a woman in her early 30's had a fucking stroke in her sleep and she fucking died Taka.

Now you tell me how that shit is important to the IWC? You tell me I didn't have character direction? You tell me, after all that's happened to me in my life. That I have no character? Shit, the guys running things backstage couldn't even get my storylines right man. I was in bed with the NYPD for months and months on end. Did you even fucking see them one time on televsion? Even so much as a cop car? What were fans supposed to think? That they were out stuffing their fat faces with fucking pastries while I was getting beat in the ring? I played it off as best as I could. But let's face facts Taka, Uprising sucked a dick!

I'm in a much better place now. I'm on RIOT. My first appearance as a member of the RIOT roster. Cindy Todd and I damn near killed each other. That was a fucking moment. In one night RIOT outshined anything I've done in the previous six months combined. And with the Ultraviolence Union. Anything is possible. We're all together now. We have a man who flings his own fucking shit at people Taka! His name is Teiji Shintaro! We have the most violent rookie in the business since I arrived in Ricky Holt. And you got me. Now when the IWC opens back up. Expect a lot more out of me and expect a lot more out of us.

And Cindy Todd, don't think that I forgot about you. When things are back to normal. We are going to war. We will bleed buckets. We will cry, we will feel pain. And we will pay the ultimate fucking price for our hatred. You can say I'm done, I'm washed up. I'm not the same man. Blah blah fucking blah. You can use the same old tired ass rhetoric everyone else has used. But remember the steel wrapped around your neck. Remember the blood dripping from your mouth as you uttered out gutteral scream after gutteral scream. Remember everything about that night. And times it by fucking ten. Because that's what is in store for you. By the time I'm done. I'm going to pluck those black eyes out of your marble looking whore face of yours and I will skullfuck you.

Taka is sitting there with a stunned look on his face. That doesn't stop him from interrupting one more time.

Taka Shimura: Cindy Todd Riddick? Well I wish you luck with that and wish you luck tonight. We are about out of time here though. I'm sorry to cut you...

Riddick yells at Taka violently.

Riddick: OFF TAKA! YOU CUT ME THE FUCK OFF! Did I not tell you to never do that again??

Taka is shown swallowing a scared gulp. This is the Riddick of old. Taka suddenly realizes this. And he draws the conclusion that he's realized this a little too late. Here's a man he should not have bet against. Riddick continues.

Riddick: And you're wishing me luck? Wishing me luck? Two words Taka. FUCK LUCK! You don't wish me luck. A matter of fact didn't I see you on your stupid little wrap up show saying that all of Scroggs opponents he defeated were better than me? Didn't I fucking hear that come from your pursed little lips. ANSWER ME!!

Taka is shaking now. But he mutters out something.

Taka Shimura: No Riddick. I didn't mean that. I'm sorry. I meant his opponents he faced were better than the opponents you faced. Once again I'm sorry. I'm sorry!!!

Riddick: I'm not religious you pompous bitch. I don't believe in fucking forgiveness! Time for your fucking last rites Taka! You should have picked me to win and kept your fucking trap shut! NOW BLEED!

Taka's face contorts to sheer horror as Riddick stands up and grabs the back of Taka's head and drives it THROUGH THE GLASS DESK THAT THEY'RE SITTING AT! Taka is busted wide open and bleeding from his forehead. Riddick picks up Taka and carries him into the empty arena and the empty ring from the set. He rolls Taka into the ring and stands him up. He hooks his head and neck and delivers RIDDICKS RAGE ON TAKA SHIMURA! Taka is out cold, twitching and bleeding. Riddick looks around and sees no one there. No one to help Taka. No one announcing the horrific violence that's taking place right now. Riddick rolls under the ropes and looks under the ring and pulls out a SPOOL OF BARBED WIRE!

Riddick looks at Taka with that old gleam in his eye and that old sneer on his face as he pulls Taka up on final time and wraps the barbed wire around his neck and runs at the ropes and
FLINGS TAKA OVER THE TOP ROPE WITH THE BARBED WIRE AROUND HIS NECK WITH THE CARNAL NECKVICE!! THE SAME MOVE HE USED ON CINDY TODD IS NOW BEING USED ON TAKA SHIMURA!! Blood pours from Taka's neck as he coughs and gags on his own blood. Riddick wrenches back harder until the barbed wire breaks. Blood spills out of Taka's neck as he slumps to the floor outside. Riddick is covered in Taka's blood. He wipes his hand across his chest then emits almost a growling like sound before licking blood from his hands. Riddick grabs the camera and bellows into it.

Riddick: IF I CAN DO THIS TO A MAN WHO HAS CALLED OVER 90 PERCENT OF MY FUCKING CAREER! IMAGINE WHAT I CAN DO TO YOU JOHN SCROGGS. IMAGINE WHAT I CAN FUCKING DO TO YOU STILL CINDY TODD AND IMAGINE WHAT I CAN FUCKING DO TO ANYONE, ANYONE WHO CROSSES MY PATH! I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT FUCKING WALK OF LIFE YOU'RE FROM! NO ONE IS SAFE. I'M FUCKING BACK!

Riddick then looks into the camera. Calming himself down almost immediately. His mood violently swinging so bad that it's scary. He calmly looks into the camera and half whispers in a throaty, deep voice.

Riddick: And your blood is my vice!! You've been warned!

Riddick drops the cameraman with a shot to the head and the camera goes to static from in the ring. Meanwhile, emergency crew on hand is tending to Taka. Frantically trying to save his life. We cut from this sad, sad scene.

*** SCENE ENDS ***

IJPW World Crown 2016 - Night Ten

[The scene opens with an aerial shot of a studio set. There are two men sitting behind a desk. One is Yo Kurasawa - the legendary commentator, notorious pervert, and current Vice President of Talent Relations and Head Booker for Iron Japan. Next to him is Eric O'Flaherty – a pale man in an Irish flat cap. A video screen is behind them.]

KURASAWA: Welcome to the English language highlight show for Iron Japan Pro Wrestling! Tonight was the tenth and final night of World Crown 2016. It's been an action packed ten days. We crowned the first ever holder of the World Crown belt and they will get a shot at the IJPW World Wrestling Championship next month at International Incident – Night Three, which will be back here at the Tokyo Dome. The IJPW World Tag Team Championship was also contested tonight, and we crowned the first ever IJPW Television Champion. But as you can see, Taka is not here with us...

O'FLAHERTY: I grew up watching RSW, Yo. I grew up with you and him doing the English language coverage. You both will always hold a nostalgic spot in my heart, but... you know what happens when someone gets in Riddick's way. And that's why I'm here. I'm Eric O'Flaherty, by the way. People in America know me as the man in the background – the manager and founder of the Ultraviolence Union. Now because Taka got in Riddick's way, Yo needed to find someone to accompany him on the English language highlight show. Like a goal poacher, I know how to be in the right place and the right time!

KURASAWA: We're going to air Riddick's controversial interview after the Night Ten highlight show.

O'FLAHERTY: Are you expecting me to do the dark match report like Taka?

KURASAWA: It was Taka's thing. He wanted to do it. Do you want to do it?

O'FLAHERTY: Not really. I didn't fucking watch it. All I know is Mallory and Mercy got taken to a fifteen minute time limit draw by some fucking dojo students. Those fake cunts must still be hurting from their match against Ricky and Teiji last night. Now those bimbos can fuck off back to LA. This is IJPW. This is supposed to be real and gritty – just like the Ultraviolence Union.

KURASAWA: Anyway...

Eight Person Tag Team Match
Mexico vs. Japan
Los Asesinos (Raul El Aguila, Roberto Lopez, Selena Martinez) and El Loco vs. Sun Demon, Miyazaki Bokkai, Morio Kamisaka, and AKIO

KURASAWA: Our first match of the main card saw wrestlers from Mexico team up against wrestlers from Japan. El Loco trained Raul El Aguila at the Loco Combat Club in Brooklyn. That's a place you're familiar with, Eric.

O'FLAHERTY: You mean what used to be the Loco Combat Club? Oh yeah, I'm familiar. Loco doesn't like me that much, to say the least.

KURASAWA: Team Japan consisted of four fan favorites. Sun Demon has struggled to get on his feet in IJPW, while Miyazaki Bokkai defeated Loco at the Grand Opening. Morio Kamisaka has had to deal with his tag team partner getting his neck broken on Night One, and AKIO had to push the creepy Fabulous Adrian Bagglio into the back of his mind. Nene Hishikawa was the referee for this match.

Singles Grudge Match
Kuni Hishida vs. Fabulous Adrian Bagglio

KURASAWA: FAB targeted Kuni Hishida after her first round loss to Nobuyoki Katsushika and revealed a thong he stole from her. After defeating her on Night Eight at Budokan in a match where he often sexually forced himself on her, FAB continued his attack with a Singapore cane until Kuni's boyfriend, AKIO, ran out. FAB said he was going to do away with Kuni tonight once and for all, but this wasn't about her. It was about AKIO. He doesn't want AKIO in the ring. He wants him in the bedroom! Kuni wanted this match for her own redemption and to get herself on the winning path in IJPW. The referee for this match was Kuni Ariwara.

Singles Grudge Match
Markie Bristow vs. Danjuro Komatsuzaki

KURASAWA: Markie Bristow and IJPW Dojo Master Danjuro Komatsuzaki made a bet to see who could go further in the World Crown tournament. Danjuro won when the Englishman was eliminated in the first round. That wasn't good enough for Danjuro, who attacked Bristow after the match and ran down the English people. Danjuro's nationalism and xenophobia is no secret.

O'FLAHERTY: Tell me about it. He was a cunt to Ricky (Holt). He's also an idiot. We beat someone after you win a bet? Why the hell should Bristow pay him at this point?

KURASAWA: We don't know what was wagered. It was all apparently a bet that was made at a restaurant, and it certainly wasn't a friendly wager if Danjuro's words are anything to go by. The referee for this match was Tashiaki Suzuki.

Tag Team Match
Dave Manton and Stan Ward vs. Rotten Saints (Big Ugly and J Murda)

KURASAWA: Dave Manton broke Freddy Deeds' neck on his way to the World Crown semi-finals. Manton has broken two necks in the tournament with his jumping piledriver. With his tag team partner put out of action, Big Ugly called upon fellow Detroit native J Murda to be Freddy's stand-in. Murda actually grew up in the same area as Ugly and Deeds, but said his relationship with them was “complicated.” However, he was willing to be Big Ugly's partner against Manton and Ward! Jimmy Erikson was the official for this match.

Singles Grudge Match
Lainey Boyle vs. Muffin Vanderburg

KURASAWA: Muffin Vanderburg has had to fend for herself since her tag partner, Nicki Scherer, got her arm broken on Night One. The Deadly Three have taken advantage by targeting her throughout World Crown. “The Boston Bitch” Lainey Boyle hoped to put Muffin on the sidelines next to Scherer. Toyoko Toshikura wa–

O'FLAHERTY: So how hard was it for you to not wank off during this match? We've seen you do it before.

KURASAWA: I, uh...

O'FLAHERTY: What turns you on more – Muffin's hot next door neighbor look, or Lainey's dominating bitchiness? If I remember, you're kind of a fem dom guy...

KURASAWA: I can't pick one right now. The referee for this match was Toyoko Toshikura.

Singles Grudge Match
Konosuke Usami vs. KANNON

KURASAWA: This match was booked after what happened last night. KANNON and Usami were in the same team in an Eight Person Tag Team Match. Afterward, The King of the Dark World turned on the rising young star and spit a fireball into the face of IJPW Dojo student Jyoji Jumonji – severely burning him and putting him out of action. The referee for this match was Mabuchi Hida.

POST-MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

[KANNON knocks Usami through the ropes with a stiff forearm! Usami tumbles to the outside and his head bounces hard on the ringside padding. KANNON rolls out of the ring and looks underneath...]

KURASAWA: [In Japanese.] KANNON won't stop. What's he looking for?

SAKURAI: [In Japanese.] None of the dojo students want to step in after what happened to Jyoji Jumonji. Usami is completely at the mercy of a man who has none!

KURASAWA: [In Japanese.] That's a straight jacket. What the hell is this twisted man going to do?

[KANNON puts Usami in the straight jacket. He then takes out a chain from under the ring, ties it around Usami's neck, and rolls him onto the entry ramp.]

KURASAWA: [In Japanese.] KANNON is dragging Usami with that chain! He's dragging him all the way up the ramp!

SAKURAI: [In Japanese.] Where's he taking him?!

KURASAWA: [In Japanese.] He's dragging one of Japan's brightest young stars into the abyss!

IJPW Television Championship
Nate Narwin vs. Trista Capra vs. Isamu Shinagami vs. Paul Cannon

KURASAWA: Nate Narwin and Trista Capra were eliminated from World Crown after brawling to a thirty minute time limit draw. They continued to fight after the bell. These two were booked for an opportunity to be the first IJPW Television Champion, but the door was open for anyone to impress and get into this match. Isamu Shinagami pinned Capra in a tag team match and “The Hardcore Lumberjack” Paul Cannon beat Big Ugly last night to get into this match.

O'FLAHERTY: Narwin and Capra are two of my all-time favorites. Narwin just doesn't give a fuck. It's a shame that he couldn't win a World title in his prime. Then you have The Original Deathmatch Queen in Capra, who was a real fox back in her day. 54-years-old! She's the Siouxsie Sioux of pro wrestling. You have so many fake goth bitches in the business these days, but Capra was the first to have the look and she's legit.

KURASAWA: Kanzaburo Outakara was the official for this championship match.

Six Person Tag Team Grudge Match
Noble Power (Nobuyoki Katsushika and Sakura Shizuka) and Suda Tsukasa vs. Curt Fleischer, Jun Hageshii, and Vera Yordanka

KURASAWA: Suda Tsukasa was one of the biggest stories in the World Crown tournament. “The King of Korakuen Hall” turned back the clocks and his Korakuen Hall magic took him through the first three rounds. Then he beat Jun Hageshii at Budokan in the quarter-finals, only to lose to John Scroggs in the semi-finals. Tonight, he teamed with his friends – IJPW World Wrestling Champion Nobuyoki Katsushika and Nobu's girlfriend, Sakura Shizuka. Shizuka has been attacked by both Hageshii and Vera Yordanka in the press lately as both accused her of sleeping with the champ to get her spot.

O'FLAHERTY: They're fucking right. She has this innocent and humble gimmick. It's such bullshit. I'm not having it. She's riding Katsushika's cock to the top.

KURASAWA: Add Curt Fleischer to the mix. Fleischer lost to Katsushika in the World title match at the Grand Opening and was eliminated by him in World Crown.

O'FLAHERTY: Fleischer is from St. Paul, over on the other side of the river from my hometown. He's a bad and scary man. Nobody ever fucked with him.

KURASAWA: Masanori Katayanagi was the official for this match.

POST-MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

[Tsukasa stands alone in the ring with a microphone in hand.]

TSUKASA: [In Japanese.] This has been an incredible ride. I honestly didn't know how far I could go in the World Crown tournament, but I knew it could be my last shot at being a World Champion again. The support from everyone all over the country was heartwarming. I thank everyone for getting behind me. Not just in this tournament, but all throughout the years. Now as I stand here in the Tokyo Dome after being pinned, everyone wonders if this was my last match. Is this how I want to go out? Do I have enough left to go out with a win on a stage this big? I don't know... I have a lot of thinking to do. But I thank you for the support. These last ten nights have been special! Thank you!

IJPW World Tag Team Championship
Ultraviolence Union (Ricky Holt and Teiji Shintaro) vs. (c) Doyle Brothers (Ricky Doyle and Ronnie Doyle)

KURASAWA: Holt and Shintaro... Those are your boys, Eric.

O'FLAHERTY: Yeah. So what? What do ya want me to say?

KURASAWA: Do you have anything to say without spoiling the match?

O'FLAHERTY: Without spoiling the match? No...

KURASAWA: Okay then. Holy and Te–

O'FLAHERTY: I have something to say. Holt and Teiji are the most dangerous tag team on the planet. I've known Holt my whole life. We grew up together in South Minneapolis. You found Teiji, Yo. You actually sent him to us to give him exposure in America and he terrorized the place. This man is the living embodiment of the deathmatch. He is anarchist terrorism. Believe it or not, but the man who fights in his underwear and eats his own shit is one of the smartest people I've ever met in my life... and that makes him more dangerous. Doyle Brothers are two tough fuckers from Belfast, but they never came across two guys like Holt and Teiji. I'm not spoiling the match with anything I just said. The thing you have to know about my clients in the Ultraviolence Union is that win, lose, or draw – they will leave you give you the fight of your life. You'll be fighting for your life, Yo.

KURASAWA: Anything else?

O'FLAHERTY: Nope. Who was the ref?

KURASAWA: The referee for this IJPW World Tag Team Championship match was Nanako Fujioka.

*** MAIN EVENT ***
World Crown 2016 Final
 Riddick vs. John Scroggs

KURASAWA: Even before tonight, it was safe to say that Riddick was back in form. After struggling since his return to pro wrestling, Japan's most iconic and hardcore gaijin put on a captivating run to the World Crown Final.

O'FLAHERTY: Then he took out Taka Shimura in a pre-fight interview, and now I have an extra job in IJPW. Riddick knows how to make me money. As his manager and a longtime admirer, I was proud of him going into tonight.

KURASAWA: He took on a Baltimore bruiser by the name of John Scroggs – a gaijin who said he wanted to eclipse Riddick as the best gaijin in puroresu history. Scroggs is a former defensive tackle in college football. He's strong and fast. He eliminated the World Champion on his way to the final and took part in a classic bloodbath with Big Ugly.

O'FLAHERTY: The crowd had to pick between these two guys, even though they hate them both... but they chose wisely and pulled for Riddick. They boo him but they love to cheer him because he is Mr. Rising Sun Wrestling. A lot of those old RSW fans came out to fill the Tokyo Dome too!

KURASAWA: Oh yeah. RSW fans were not like traditional Japanese fans. They were loud, vulgar, and bloodthirsty. They caused riots. It was something puroresu has never seen before or since, but a lot of those fans came out to support Riddick tonight. Most of them were in the cheap seats, but their vocal support filtered to the rest of the Tokyo Dome as they cheered on the man who represents the spirit of that counter culture wrestling promotion. But Scroggs isn't a man for any of the romance. He's a big nasty bruiser who wanted to be the first World Crown holder. He wanted a chance to beat Katsushika again, and to beat him for the World title. This was it! Ten nights of World Crown action led up to this historic encounter at the Tokyo Dome! Two of the greatest gaijins of all-time! The referee was Cassidy Reischer.

POST-MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

[The Tokyo Dome is shaking as the fans scream and jump. Riddick gives them all the middle finger as Scroggs falls back into the ropes after an exhausting encounter.]

MATSUMUA: [In Japanese.] Your winner and the first ever holder of the World Crown – RIIIIDDIIIICK!

[Reischer goes to raise Riddick's hand but he knocks her down with a headbutt! Riddick stomps her face a few times as the fans cheer him on! He picks her up, runs her to the ropes, and hurts her over and onto the entry ramp! Reischer rolls a few feet away from an exiting Scroggs. Meanwhile, an upset Yo Kurasawa climbs into the ring with a microphone and the World Crown belt.]

KURASAWA: [Off microphone, but picked up by another mic at ringside.] Come on, man! Haven't you done enough?! First you almost kill Taka! Then you gotta beat up my favorite ref again?

RIDDICK: Oh, she's your favorite to spank it to now? I thought it was one of those other bitches? I can't tell them apart. So are ya gonna give me that belt and mic and fuck off, or do I gotta put you in the hospital next to Taka?!

[FAST FORWARD...

Riddick stands proudly with the World Crown over his shoulder. Ricky Holt and Teiji Shintaro stand behind him with the IJPW World Tag Team Championship belts over their shoulders. Teiji has an old woman in hokey overalls hanging on his arm. He doesn't seem to care for her, but he tolerates her for now. Eric O'Flaherty holds a baseball bat over his right shoulder.]

RIDDICK: I told you all I would win! There was a time when everyone thought my best days were gone. They thought I was washed up. I thought I was washed up... But now look at this! It's 2016 and I just headlined the Tokyo Dome yet again! I stand before you as the first ever World Crown holder. And now I'm going to bring the World title to the Ultraviolence Union!

[The old woman comes up from behind Riddick and shouts into the microphone.]

PSYCHNUTS: I'M PROUD OF MY SON FOR WINNING THE THING! THIS IS MY BOY AND ONCE UPON A TIME HIS DADDY PUT HIS SEED IN ME AND THEN HE FELL OUTTA MY FISHY PUSSY AN–

RIDDICK: [Pushes Psychnuts in the face.] Get the fuck out of here!

[Pychnuts falls back into Teiji, who grabs her by the throat and throws her right out of the ring! The crazy old woman splats hard on the ringside floor! Riddick pays no mind to it. He continues.]

RIDDICK: Get to the back of the line, Ronnie Doyle! I'm main eventing the Tokyo Dome once again next month when I cut the legs off Mr. Cat Shit! That giant retard! I'll cut his vocal chords out so we don't have to listen to another guy around here drone on about the fans and [doing a Japanese voice] “oh I ruv you! Thanks you for the support!” [Regular voice.] Fuck you. And to everyone who thought I was done – it's 2016 and I'm going to be a World Champion once again! And we already have the World Tag Team titles in the Ultraviolence Union! The wrestling world belongs to the Ultraviolence Union!

[Riddick carelessly tosses the microphone behind him and sends it sailing into the crowd. The Ultraviolence Union closes the show by showing off their belts.]

WRAP-UP

O'FLAHERTY: So, for anyone who gives a shit about Taka's tournament prediction record, picking Scroggs put him at 41-20-1 and cost him a ton in medical bills for the next few months.

KURASAWA: Get well soon, Taka. But Eric... any thoughts on tonight that you want to share?

O'FLAHERTY: Iron Japan Pro Wrestling belongs to the Ultraviolence Union. Nobody can stand in our way. Not Katsushika. Not Scroggs. Not the Doyle Brothers. Nobody. And on a personal note, I've come a long way... I was working at a McDonald's in Minneapolis at this point last year. I was a college grad who couldn't make anything out of my business degree because I fucked up my networking opportunities. I found someone who died of an overdose behind a dumpster during my night shift. I went home after my shift, poured whiskey, and watched Riddick's brutal career highlights in his DVD box set that RSW released years ago. A few months later, I found myself actually in the wrestling business – managing my longtime friend, Ricky Holt, and the guy we watched while growing up – Riddick. I'm managing Teiji Shintaro – the most dangerous man in professional wrestling. I went from a ghetto-ass McDonald's on Lake Street to the Tokyo Dome in over a few months, Yo. Now I'm doing this show and making even more money. I'm living the fucking dream.
[Beat.]
Also, I heard the Doyle Brothers already invoked their rematch clause. Bring it on. Holt and Teiji will beat you again at International Incident.

KURASAWA: International Incident will be three nights. Night One will be at the World Memorial Hall in Kobe. Two matches have already been booked. Trista Capra will defend her IJPW Television Champion against Lainey Boyle. The main event will see the Ultraviolence Union and Jun Hageshii take on Nobuyoki Katsushika, the Doyle Brothers, and El Loco.

O'FLAHERTY: The Union has worked with Hageshii before. He shares our thirst for blood. He's more than welcome to join the party for that main event.

KURASAWA: Night Two will be at the Saitama Super Arena. Night Three will be back here at the Tokyo Dome. That does it for us tonight. What an incredible ten nights it has been. Trista Capra is our first ever IJPW Television Champion. Holt and Shintaro are the new World Tag Team Champions. Riddick is the first holder of the World Crown and he's now on his way to a World title shot at the Tokyo Dome! For Eric O'Flaherty, I'm Yo Kurasawa. Good night from the Tokyo Dome!

IJPW World Crown 2016 - Night Nine

[The scene opens with an aerial shot of a studio set. There are two men sitting behind a desk. One is Yo Kurasawa - the legendary commentator, notorious pervert, and current Vice President of Talent Relations and Head Booker for Iron Japan. Next to him is Taka Shimura - another veteran voice in puroresu. A video screen is behind them.]

KURASAWA: Welcome to the English language highlight show for Iron Japan Pro Wrestling! It was World Crown – Night Nine and our second night at Budokan this weekend. We came around the corner tonight and we're going full speed into the Tokyo Dome tomorrow night!

SHIMURA: Everything is set after tonight. We determined who will fight in the World Crown Final and for a shot at the World title. We determined who will challenge for the IJPW World Tag Team Championship tomorrow night.

KURASAWA: Contenders were determined and rivalries heated up. There were some surprises too.

SHIMURA: The evening started with a dark match. Jackie Walters took on IJPW Dojo student Atsumori Nakadai. The referee was Toyoko Toshikura. Walters won with a knockout kick to the head at 6:40. Nakadai has taken a beating this week. First Albert Doxin beat him into a bloody pulp. Then Jackie Walters kicked his head off.

Non-Tournament Singles Match

Lainey Boyle vs. Satomi Asano

KURASAWA: “The Boston Bitch” Lainey Boyle is set to take on Muffin Vanderburg at the Tokyo Dome tomorrow night. Satomi Asano was given the chance to beat Boyle before her big day at the big dome. She told the press how she wanted to badly impress in order to break into the IJPW Television Championship match. The referee for this match was Kanzaburo Outakara.

Non-Tournament Singles Match

Danjuro Komatsuzaki vs. Miyazaki Bokkai

KURASAWA: IJPW Dojo Master Danjuro Komatsuzaki is locked into a feud with England's Markie Bristow. The two will collide at the Tokyo Dome. Tonight, Danjuro took on Miyaki Bokkai – another competitor who was set on getting into the TV title match. The referee for this match was Tashiaki Suzuki.

Non-Tournament Singles Match

Paul Cannon vs. Big Ugly

KURASAWA: Big Ugly was on the losing end of an instant classic against John Scroggs in a second round bloodbath. “The Hardcore Lumberjack” Paul Cannon was eliminated from the World Crown tournament after losing to Ricky Doyle on Night One. These two hardcore wrestlers knew what was on the night – a chance to be the first Television Champion and to win it at the Tokyo Dome. Mabuchi Hida was the referee for this match.

Eight Person Tag Team Match

Nate Narwin, Isamu Shinagami, Killer Komukai, and Jun Hageshii vs. Trista Capra, El Loco, KANNON, and Konosuke Usami

KURASAWA: Narwin, Shinagami, and Capra already ensured themselves a chance to be the first IJPW Television Champion before tonight. Killer Komukai, Jun Hageshii, El Loco, KANNON, and Konosuke Usami all had a chance to get into that match – either with an impressive performance or by pinning or submitting someone in this match who was already in the TV title match.

SHIMURA: The match started with Narwin and Loco in the ring. We touched on their history last night. Narwin and Capra are feuding now. Hageshii has made Loco tap out twice. He actually eliminated him from the World Crown tournament. Then there's Killer and Usami, who had a feud at the end of last year that Usami won. Killer's rise to the top has stagnated while Usami keeps moving up. There's one odd inclusion, though... KANNON - “The King of the Dark World.”

KURASAWA: The official for this match was Nanako Fujioka.

POST-MATCH INTERVIEW

[Everyone is standing around after the bell. The dojo students jumped in early to make sure this didn't turn into a widespread brawl... but they didn't expect any teammates to turn on each other! KANNON grabs Usami at ringside and throws him hard into the rails! He sinks him with some solid kicks to the head before choking him! The students try to get him away, and this allows Narwin, Capra, and Loco to start fighting each other! Hageshii and Komukai begin to brawl in the ring! Shinagami clears the ropes and lands on both of Narwin and Capra at ringside!]

KURASAWA: [In Japanese.] It's chaos! How are we going to get this under control?!

SHIMURA: [In Japanese.] They got KANNON off of Usami, but now The King of the Dark World is attacking the dojo students!

[KANNON whips Jyoji Jumanji into the ring apron. Jumanji screams out as his back hits hard, but that's soon the least of his pain as KANNON spits a fireball into his face!]

KURASAWA: [In Japanese.] That's Jyoji Jumanji! KANNON just spit fire in his face! He caught all of it!

SHIMURA: [In Japanese.] We'll hear these screams in our nightmares!

[The other students back off KANNON, but Usami jumps at him and tackles him onto the floor! Additional security and medics flood the scene to get control of the situation and tend to the severely burned dojo student, who clutches his face on the floor and screams.]

Six Person Tag Team Match
Curt Fleischer and Imperial (AKIO and Kuni Hishida) vs. Noble Power (Nobuyoki Katsushika and Sakura Shizuka) and Fabulous Adrian Bagglio

KURASAWA: IJPW World Wrestling Champion Nobuyoki Katsushoka was disappointed to be eliminated from the World Crown tournament last night. While he was happy to team with his girlfriend, neither of them were too thrilled to team with Fabulous Adrian Bagglio. FAB stole Kuni Hishida's thong and then beat her last night. After carrying out an assault, FAB accepted Kuni's challenge to fight again tomorrow night, but FAB said that this is more about AKIO. He wants to get rid of Hishida so he can have AKIO to himself. Not in the ring, but the bedroom!

SHIMURA: Imperial have been replaced by Noble Power as the number one puroresu couple. Let's not forget that Katsushika eliminated Hishida in the first round. Add Curt Fleischer to the mix. He's lost to Katsushika twice, but he beat up Shizuka here at Budokan last night.

KURASAWA: Kuni Ariwara was the referee for this contest.

#1 Contenders For IJPW World Tag Team Championship

Ultraviolence Union (Ricky Holt and Teiji Shintaro) vs. Mallory and Mercy (Mallory Northway and Mercy Monroe)

KURASAWA: “The General” Ricky Holt has been vocal about his team's exclusion from the World Tag Team title tournament. Tonight, him and Teiji “The Terror” Shintaro finally had their chance to earn a shot. The Ultraviolence Union took on “The Centerfold” Mallory Northway and “The Queen” Mercy Monroe.

SHIMURA: You couldn't ask for more different people. Holt accused Northway and Monroe of not being “real wrestlers” because of their cross-platform success. Holt was shaped by the brutal winters of Minneapolis. He can do it all in the ring, but he loves to fight and loves ultraviolence. Teiji is an underground deathmatch legend, coprophile, and a genuine psychopath who used to terrorize the Tokyo docks. He comes out in his bloody underwear and covered in shit. Mallory and Mercy come from the warm Arizona desert and have been in films and magazines.

KURASAWA: But those ladies are damn good at wrestling, Taka. The referee for this match was Masanori Katayanagi.

World Crown 2016 Semi-Final Match

Dave Manton vs. Riddick

KURASAWA: Dave Manton broke two necks in the tournament to get to the semi-final. Tonight he faced a man who is no stranger to breaking bones and even ending lives. Manton has fought many people in his life, from bar room floors and hockey rinks, all the way to the IJPW ring. But he's never fought a man with the track record and legacy of Riddick. He's never fought in a match this big before tonight. Cassidy Reischer was the official for this match and, as you can remember, Riddick attacked her after losing to Konosuke Usami at the Grand Opening.

*** MAIN EVENT ***
World Crown 2016 Semi-Final Match

Suda Tsukasa vs. John Scroggs

KURASAWA: The Korakuen Hall magic followed Tsukasa two kilometers to Budokan. The nation stood together in solid support of Tsukasa heading into this match with John Scroggs – the man who eliminated Tsukasa's good friend and World Champion, Nobuyoki Katsushika, from the World Crown tournament last night. Scroggs established himself as the new favorite of the tournament. Could Tsukasa continue this fairytale run and defeat the Baltimore bruiser in his Indian summer? The referee was Nene Hishikawa.

WRAP-UP

KURASAWA: The stage is set for tomorrow. We've made through nine nights! Now it's full steam ahead for the Tokyo Dome tomorrow night. Here is tomorrow's card, from first match to last:

Eight Person Tag Team Match
Mexico vs. Japan
Los Asesinos (Raul El Aguila, Roberto Lopez, Selena Martinez) and El Loco vs. Sun Demon, Miyazaki Bokkai, Morio Kamisaka, and AKIO

Singles Grudge Match
Kuni Hishida vs. Fabulous Adrian Bagglio

Singles Grudge Match
Markie Bristow vs. Danjuro Komatsuzaki

Konosuke Usami vs. KANNON

IJPW Television Championship
Nate Narwin vs. Trista Capra vs. Isamu Shinagami vs. Paul Cannon

IJPW World Tag Team Championship
Ultraviolence Union (Ricky Holt and Teiji Shintaro) vs. (c) Doyle Brothers (Ricky Doyle and Ronnie Doyle)

*** MAIN EVENT ***
World Crown 2016 Final
Riddick vs. John Scroggs

KURASAWA: How did you do on your tournament predictions tonight?

SHIMURA: I had Riddick and Scroggs tonight. 2-0! I'm now 41-19-1 in overall tournament predictions.

KURASAWA: Who wins the World Crown Final?

SHIMURA: John Scroggs. Is it me, or has Riddick looked a little slow towards the end of this tournament? All those brutal matches had to have taken a toll on his body over the years, and this will be his sixth match in ten days. Scroggs is bigger. He moves faster. Riddick will need to turn up the violence and dig deep if he wants to beat Scroggs tomorrow. Also, Scroggs has beat better opposition in this tournament than Riddick. I think he has the momentum on his side.

KURASAWA: It's going to be a historic night at the Tokyo Dome tomorrow. Two of the best gaijins of all time in the main event to determine the first World Crown holder and the number one contender to the World Wrestling Championship at International Incident. The World Tag Team titles are on the line. We'll determine the first Television Champion. There are some scores to be settled. But that does it for us tonight at Budokan. For Taka Shimura, I'm Yo Kurasawa. Good night from Tokyo!

IJPW World Crown 2016 - Night Eight

[The scene opens with an aerial shot of a studio set. There are two men sitting behind a desk. One is Yo Kurasawa - the legendary commentator, notorious pervert, and current Vice President of Talent Relations and Head Booker for Iron Japan. Next to him is Taka Shimura - another veteran voice in puroresu. A video screen is behind them.]

KURASAWA: Welcome to the English language highlight show for Iron Japan Pro Wrestling! After seven straight nights at Korakuen Hall, we have moved two kilometers south to Budokan for Night Eight and Nine.

SHIMURA: Budokan is the birthplace of Iron Japan Pro Wrestling. This is where we held our Grand Opening.

KURASAWA: There's been a lot of tensions building over the course of World Crown 2016. Some rivalries are starting to form. Things are heating up in both tournament and non-tournament action.

SHIMURA: Tonight's festivities started with a dark match between Astro Honami and IJPW Dojo student Haruhi Sarumara. Kuni Ariwara was the referee. Haruhi took it to Honami in the first five minutes. Honami couldn't handle her brutal shoot style and stiffness, so he tried for quick pin attempts and ranas. Honami almost got a pin at around 11:30 when Haruhi missed a jumping knee, leading to Honami hitting the Astro Crusher (Gori Crusher). Both competitors had near falls in the last moments. Honami had her in a rana pin, but she kicked out at two at 14:59. The match ended in a time limit draw a second later.

Non-Tournament Singles Grudge Match

Kuni Hishida vs. Fabulous Adrian Bagglio

KURASAWA: FAB made “White Tiger” Kuni Hishida a target by attacking her and stealing one of her thongs. Hishida has been open about her frustrations and hoped to score a victory in this match. Cassidy Reischer was the official for this main card opener.

POST-MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

[FAB scoops up the Singapore cane and cracks it between Hishida's eyes! She drops to one knee. FAB steps back and swings like he's playing for the Tokyo Giants, whacking her upside the head and knocking her into her right side. FAB stands over her, gyrates his hips, then hits her two more times before throwing the cane to the side. He reaches into his right boot, takes out Hishida's thong, and smells it.]

SHIMURA: [In Japanese.] There's something wrong with this man. He's going to be lucky if someone doesn't beat him up backstage.

KURASAWA: [In Japanese.] He might get beat up now! Here comes AKIO!

[AKIO runs out and slides into the ring. FAB rolls out of there. AKIO stands on the middle rope and screams at FAB as he smirks back up the entryway, holding Hishida's thong up in the air. AKIO asks for a microphone from one of the dojo students.]

AKIO: You are scum! You have no honor! You are a thief! A bully! A coward! How about you fight me inste–

[Hishida now has a microphone. FAB is getting a microphone of his own.]

HISHIDA: No... I must beat him. This is my battle. I can do this. I can beat him.

BAGGLIO: That's what I want to hear, my little Kuni. I want to fight you again. I want to destroy you. I want to do away with you because you are in my way. Make no mistake though. This isn't really about you, Kuni... This is about him...
[Points at AKIO.]
He is my end game. It's him that I ultimately want.

AKIO: You want me? Then come down here and fight me! Let's do this now!

BAGGLIO: [Grins.] Oh no... I don't want you in the ring. I want you in my bedroom.
[Bagglio licks his lips. AKIO is disgusted.]
Kuni... You and me at the Tokyo Dome on Monday... AKIO, you and me afterward... Don't bother dressing up on Monday, because it's all coming off!

SHIMURA: [In Japanese.] Oh my... Is this really happening? What a bunch of trash this is, Yo.

KURASAWA: [In Japanese.] It's trashy and that's what Bagglio wants. He wants to bring opponents into his element.

Non-Tournament Tag Team Match

Mallory and Mercy (Mallory Northway and Mercy Monroe) vs. Trans-Pacific Poison (Ginger Mattingly and Nori Imoo)

KURASAWA: Mallory and Mercy. “The Centerfold” and “The Queen.” These two Arizona women have fought and teamed up a lot over the years. They love each other and hate each other. They're both cross-platform stars who are famous in Los Angeles circles. They're facing Ricky Holt and Teiji Shintaro here tomorrow night to determine the number one contenders to the IJPW World Tag Team Championship. Tonight, Mallory and Mercy went up against Trans-Pacific Poison – one of the teams Ricky Holt severely criticized by saying they didn't belong in the tournament to crown the first World Tag Team Champions.

SHIMURA: Even though him and Mattingly have a past and are apparently friends. With friends like that, who needs enemies?

KURASAWA: This was a big opportunity for Trans-Pacific Poison to put themselves in contention. Nanako Fujioka was the official for this contest.

Non-Tournament Singles Grudge Match

Curt Fleischer vs. Sakura Shizuka

KURASAWA: Sakura Shizuka has received a lot of hate recently. Ricky Holt, Jun Hageshii, and Vera Yordanka are three of the people who have attacked Shizuka and her relationship with IJPW World Wrestling Champion Nobuyoki Katsushika. Fleischer hasn't done that, but he did say that he would show her what a real man is like after beating Katsushika in last night's main event. The problem for him is that he lost. Fleischer didn't take too kindly to Shizuka's words to the press by reminding him it's the second time he lost to her man. With Fleischer furious about losing to Katsushika and Shizuka voicing fury in regards to the locker room sentiment against her, there was a lot of anger doing into this match.

SHIMURA: Everyone wondered if Shizuka lost her mind. Who wants to get into the ring with Fleischer? People who are Fleischer's size don't even seek that fight.

KURASAWA: The referee for this contest was Kanzaburo Outakara.

Non-Tournament Eight Person Tag Team Match

Nate Narwin, Ultraviolence Union (Ricky Holt and Teiji Shintaro), and Isamu Shinagami vs. Trista Capra, El Loco, Jona Ziesemer, and Konosuke Usami

KURASAWA: There's a lot of backstories in this match. We'll start with the one concerning the IJPW Television Championship, which will be decided at the Tokyo Dome on Night Ten. Nate Narwin and Trista Capra battled to a 30 minute draw in the first round. They were entered into a match that would determine the first TV Champion, but others have been given the opportunity to put themselves in the match if they impressed. Isamu Shinagami did that by pinning Trista Capra in a tag team match.

SHIMURA: There were other people in this match who fought during the tournament. Konosuke Usami eliminated Ricky Holt from the tournament, and Jona Ziesemer eliminated Ricky Holt. Those were both in the second round. Usami can say he's defeated 2/3's of the Ultraviolence Union before tonight.

KURASAWA: El Loco has history with Nate Narwin and Ricky Holt. His history with Narwin goes back years ago. They were a tag team. Narwin was a bad influence on the most successful Cruiserweight Champion in history. He got him into alcohol and hard drugs. Loco followed Narwin out the door when the controversial Canadian got banned from wrestling in 2008. They competed in outlaw territories until Narwin basically left Loco for dead. Facing drug an alcohol addiction, Loco spent years pulling himself out of the gutter. He started the Loco Combat Club in Brooklyn. Last year, he took in a hot prospect by the name of Ricky Holt, who moved from Minneapolis after signing with an American promotion. Holt eventually attacked Loco in his gym office after closing hours, stole his mask, and set his face on fire. The two have crossed paths in the ring a few times here in IJPW after Loco came out of retirement.

SHIMURA: Look at the violent people in this match. Narwin, Shintaro, Holt, Capra, Shinagami, and we know Loco is capable of going to a dark place too... These are some of the most notorious people in just to wrestling, but in society as a whole.

KURASAWA: Mabuchi Hida was the referee for this match.

POST-MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

[The fighting continues after the bell. Narwin and Capra brawl on the outside, with Narwin whipping her into the steel rails. Shinagami is choking Usami. Holt and Loco are trading blows, but Holt gets the advantage and stomps on him in the corner. Teiji takes the fork out of his bloody and shitty underwear and stabs Ziesemer in the throat!]

KURASAWA: Holy shit! [In Japanese.] Teiji stabbed Ziesemer! Teiji stabbed Ziesemer in the throat!

SHIMURA: [In Japanese.] It's stuck in his throat! We have a serious situation on our hands!

[Ziesemer tries to roll out of the ring but Teiji grabs him. There's a tug-of-war between the Tokyo Terror and the IJPW Dojo students, all while Ziesemer bleeds all over himself from the cut on his head and the stab wound in his throat. Some of the students get in to pull Teiji away, but he just headbutts and punches them all down. It gives the other students and some trainers the chance to get Ziesemer out of there and quickly carry him out of there.]

POST-MATCH UPDATE

KURASAWA: Ziesemer was rushed to a nearby hospital and is said to be in critical condition. We'll give you more updates throughout the rest of World Crown.

World Crown 2016 Quarter-Final Match

David Manton vs. Freddy Deeds

KURASAWA: Both of these men contributed to the major injury total before going into tonight. David Manton broke Sandra Paisley's neck with a jumping piledriver on Night One. Freddy Deeds broke Nobuo Shimizu's neck on Night Six in the second round. Deeds is under a lot of scrutiny after he dances around the ring while Shimizu was being put on a stretcher.

SHIMURA: Manton is a bouncer and former beer league hockey enforcer. Deeds is a very talented all-rounder who can make it a street fight if it goes that way.

KURASAWA: Masanori Katayanagi was the referee for this match.

POST-MATCH UPDATE

SHIMURA: Manton takes out another! This time it was a man who definitely deserved it! What goes around comes around, Yo.

KURASAWA: Freddy Deeds will be sitting next to Shimizu in the hospital. He also has a broken neck. That's the sixth person who has suffered a major injury during World Crown.

World Crown 2016 Quarter-Final Match

Riddick vs. Ricky Doyle

KURASAWA: Riddick has done it all. The most iconic and hardcore gaijin of all-time took on another gaijin who hopes to leave as big of a mark on puroresu as Riddick. Ricky Doyle is one-half of the IJPW World Tag Team Champions. The Doyle Brothers could be defending those belts against Ricky Holt and Teiji Shintaro in the near future. Tonight, the Belfast native had to fight their fellow Ultraviolence Union member.

SHIMURA: There was a lot of intrigue about this match. Ricky Doyle is known to make a lot of people tap out. Riddick is a tough son of a bitch who has been in some of the bloodiest matches in the history of professional wrestling. After the quarter-final draw last night, many wondered if Ricky Doyle could go down as the man who made Riddick tap out.

KURASAWA: Tashiaki Suzuki was the official for this match.

World Crown 2016 Quarter-Final Match

Suda Tsukasa vs. Jun Hageshii

KURASAWA: Suda Tsukasa's Indian summer has become one of the biggest storylines during World Crown. “The King of Korakuen Hall” defeated HATOYAMA, Fujimaro Odaka, and Albert Dixon to get to this point. Of of them were much younger, and they were either faster in the case of HATOYAMA, or they were bigger and stronger like Odaka and Dixon. The Korakuen Hall magic worked for Tsukasa, but the tournament shifted to Budokan on Night Eight, where he took on the very angry Jun Hageshii.

SHIMURA: Hageshii defeated Nori Imoo, Lolly Lea, and El Loco to get to this point. With the victory over the legendary El Loco being a feather in his cap, the Osaka native said he was determined to add another feather by beating Tsukasa.

KURASAWA: Let's not forget that Hageshii is the main who took out a machete after his first round win against Imoo. This man doesn't just want to take over the world. He wants to burn it down. He has no respect for the legends of this business.

KURASAWA: Did the Korakuen Hall magic follow Tsukasa to Budokan? The official for this match was Nene Hishikawa.

*** MAIN EVENT ***

World Crown 2016 Quarter-Final Match

John Scroggs vs. Nobuyoki Katsushika

KURASAWA: The IJPW World Wrestling Champion, Nobuyoki Katsushika, defeated Curt Fleischer last night in their rematch from the Grand Opening. His quarter-final opponent was another big and nasty man by the name of John Scroggs. The Baltimore man has had some bruising classic with Stan Ward, Big Ugly, and Jona Ziesemer on his way to the quarter-finals.

SHIMURA: Scroggs might not be as strong as Fleischer, but he's incredibly fast. His speed and agility is freakish for a man his size. This was something new for the World Champion, whose matches in the tournament had been no longer than ten minutes up to tonight.

KURASAWA: Toyoko Toshikura was the referee for this main event between two of the biggest, strongest, and hard-hitting wrestlers in the world.

WRAP-UP

KURASAWA: Shocking scenes at Budokan!

SHIMURA: A lot of people lost money. Katsushika was the favorite to win the whole tournament. Now Ronnie Doyle might have to wait longer to get his shot at the World title. That's who Katsushika was going to pick after Ronnie knocked him out in the World Tag Team title tournament.

KURASAWA: How did you do for tournament predictions?

SHIMURA: I had Deeds over Manton, Ricky Doyle over Riddick, Hageshii over Tsukasa, and Katsushika over John Scroggs. I was 0-4!

KURASAWA: You've been so good too.

SHIMURA: I'm now 39-19-1 in overall tournament predictions.

KURASAWA: Taka and I conducted the semi-final draw in the ring after the main event. Here is what Night Nine looks like tomorrow, from first match to last:

SUNDAY – NIGHT NINE
Nippon Budokan
Tokyo, Japan

Non-Tournament Matches

Lainey Boyle vs. Satomi Asano

Singles Match
Danjuro Komatsuzaki vs. Miyazaki Bokkai

Singles Match
Paul Cannon vs. Big Ugly

Eight Person Tag Team Match
Nate Narwin, Isamu Shinagami, Killer Komukai, and Jun Hageshii vs. Trista Capra, El Loco, KANNON, and Konosuke Usami

Six Person Tag Team Match
Curt Fleischer and Imperial (AKIO and Kuni Hishida) vs. Noble Power (Nobuyoki Katsushika and Sakura Shizuka) and Fabulous Adrian Bagglio

#1 Contenders For IJPW World Tag Team Championship
Ultraviolence Union (Ricky Holt and Teiji Shintaro) vs. Mallory and Mercy (Mallory Northway and Mercy Monroe)

Tournament Matches

David Manton vs. Riddick
Suda Tsukasa vs. John Scroggs

KURASAWA: What are your semi-final predictions, Taka?

SHIMURA: Riddick over Manton and Scroggs over Tsukasa. Riddick is more experienced and he'll turn it up from here. I think Riddick will really kick it into gear. He's struggled for a year and now the World Crown belt and a shot at the World title is so close. Scroggs will beat Tsukasa because, even though we're all enjoying Tsukasa's Indian summer, the reality is that a man like Scroggs will overwhelm him. He's not just bigger and stronger, but faster too. He hits harder. Tsukasa will really need to dig deep if he wants to be in the final.

KURASAWA: That does it for us tonight. Join us again tomorrow. We'll be here again at Nippon Budokan Hall for World Crown – Night Nine. For Taka Shimura, I'm Yo Kurasawa. Good night from Tokyo!

[FADE TO BLACK.]
